Details

Sandra Eschenbach is a Mohiniattam dancer, based in Munich. Mohiniattam is an ancient temple dance from Kerala, India. It is the dance of the enchanting lady.

She is also dancing Bharatanatyam, a temple dance from Tamil Nadu.

Biography
Since more than 10 years Sandra is dedicated to Indian classical dance. She has completed her Bharatanatyam Arangetram in 2012 and performed in many shows. Each year she spents several weaks in India at Dharani School of Performing Arts to learn dance. In 2009 she started practising Mohiniattam. Now she is preparing for her Mohiniattam Rangapravesam in Munich on May 26, 2018.

Sandra also performed und taught Indian cinematic and Bollywood dance under Chandra Devi.

Her dance is benefiting from the permeable, yet stable and flowing movements of her background in Taijiquan, a Chinese martial art, which she was practising for health reasons and for the interest in body mechanics under her teachers:

To support her dance nowadays she is practising Vinyasa yoga and medidation
